The Bridge at Oudeschans, Amsterdam, Netherlands (HDR)

One thing I love about Amsterdam is the amazing & broad spectrum of colors & textures. To capture this photo, I had to sit on a little side platform that hung out over the water. Just off to the side of this photo is the Montelbaans Tower.
Zeedijk, Amsterdam Netherlands
This is a canal behind Zeedijk in Amsterdam. Zeedijk is one of the oldest sections of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. It's a sight to be seen and a great time of day to visit is late afternoon.
Some refer to this area as "Little Venice" as it's one of the only places in Amsterdam where water goes up right next to house just like in Venice.

Castle De Haar (From the Gardens) in The Netherlands
Another angle of Castle De Haar in The Netherlands taken from the
gardens. It was a picture-perfect day wandering around this wonderous castle.

Rembrandt House Museum, Amsterdam, Netherlands
My fiancée and I were recently in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and were fortunate enough to visit Rembrandt's House. What was even more amazing was that you could wonder around freely and take photos, rooms were not roped off.
That's how I was able to get this closeup shot, security at the house did not seem to mind I was taking a photo inches away from this work area with paints. The tricky part was that flash was not allowed and the light was rather dim.
Photo of Moat Gatehouse at Castle Heeswijk, Netherlands
It was a rainy, cloudy & foggy day when we visited this stunning 12th century Dutch castle so I tried to leverage the weather conditions to my advantage to create moody and artistic photos.

HDR Photo, Castle De Haar in Haarzuilens, Netherlands (Front View)
Front View of Castle De Haar in the Netherlands. It was a picture perfect day. The castle was under construction but a little Photoshop magic helped the situation to get rid of some the construction eye sores in the photo.

Canon EOS 7D with Tameron 10 - 24mm ultra wide zoom @ 10mm. 3 shot HDR done in Photomatix, post processed in Adobe LightRoom 3 Beta 2 and touched and sized in Photoshop CS 3
Bridges at Leidsegracht & Keizersgracht in Amsterdam
I took this photo while on vacation in Amsterdam, The Netherlands this past week. The photo was taken at the corner of Leidsegracht & Keizersgracht, a favorite among photographers in Amsterdam. I have one more full day here on Tuesday and the weather is supposed to be perfect so I am hoping to get back out and take some more photos! By the way, I proposed marriage to my girlfriend on this bridge while we were there.

Castle De Haar in The Netherlands
Here is a three-shot composite HDR image processed in Photomatix Pro of
Castle De Haar in The Netherlands. HDR stands for "High Dynamic Range"
and it basically takes the best exposure features from each of the three
photos that are composited and sandwiches them together to create this
surreal image.
