iPad App Review: LightTrac, Shows Outdoor Photographers Sun's Elevation and Direction
Ok, so I caved and got an iPad the other day. One of the first things I noticed, there are some stunning and amazing ipad native apps in the app store. As a photographer I am always looking for the latest and greatest as far as apps go. Before it would have been on the iPhone, now it's for the iPad.
And one of those pps is called LightTrac which can determine the sun's elevation and direction over any outdoor subject and show it to you on a map. For a photographer, this is ideal because you always want to know what the best time of day to photograph a landmark of specific location will be. LightTrac can help the photographer scout for new photo rich locations on a map ahead of time and the best times of day to shoot them.
I'd recommend this app to any photographers serious about capturing your outdoor subject at the "right" time of day. This app is also just plain fun to use and explore with!
